Private In-Home Training

The session lasts an hour and a half, if you live outside of Wooster there may be an additional mileage fee.

You will use your dog's meal in the training session, therefore, it is VERY important that you do not feed your puppy or dog the day of the training session.

Treats will be used and please also withhold treats the day of your session.

Include as many of the family members in this important milestone in your dog's life. Take notes, take videos, and feel free to ask all of your questions.

Ms Barb is VERY thorough and you will be on the road to a new better relationship with your dog.

Puppy Kindergarten

Puppies! Puppies! Puppies!

Calling all puppies! This lively, engaging group class is a puppy kindergarten. Please know that we need your puppy to be on leash, and hungry. A hungry puppy is ready to learn.

DO NOT FEED your puppy the day of class. We have fun, first things covered will be door manners and greetings with other puppies and people.

Then we will encourage some off leash play. Ms Barb will jump in and stop any puppy from biting or other scary behavior, and will train the class how to redirect in a positive way.

Bring toys, bring food, bring notebook and pen.

*we will start the next class when we arrive at the minimum of 4-5

If you can't wait for the date, consider a private training session.

Private Training session is $150 / either in your home or at our office located next door to Ballet Wooster. Private training involves entire family, your pup (or dog) and lasts approximately hour and half. Schedule by sending email to: [email protected]

This class is a lot like one of Ms Barb's private training sessions, where you will list the top three things you want from your dog. Ms Barb feels that her customer's wishes are at the forefront and therefore, each class will vary depending on the group and the collective decision of the most important skills to learn.

Dog Logic offers all levels of training.

We meet you where you are. . . meaning that if you have a lot of experience, that is our starting point. Likewise, if you have limited dog experience, I can meet you at your level and build you up.

Goal: Bring you and your pet dog closer together building a deeper bond with your best friend.

We meet you where you are . . . if you have never owned a dog I will provide all the help you need.

We meet you where you are. . . if you are a seasoned pet dog owner with lots of experience, GREAT! We can share our wisdom and reach new heights to reach your goal with your new dog or pup

Ms Barb offers a wide knowledge base from puppy biting, nipping and jumping on people, to counter surfing, riding in a car, walking nice on a leash, holding still for putting a collar on, you name it, we have solutions.

We are so proud of Leslie and Eli, winners of the AKC Trick Dog for her hard work. Leslie hired Barb after adopting her miniature poodle Eli. Concerned that training her dog might erase all of his personality, Ms Barb assured Leslie that in fact, the opposite is true.

Having a trained dog will increase and enhance our dog's personality. Having a trained dog will give you both more freedom to live a higher quality life.

Winning the 2021 AKC Trick Dog Virtual Competition was proof that Barb's Dog Logic works! Leslie continues to train Eli and added a brother named Chip to their family.

Group Classes

Classes will be held once a week at our office in Wooster next door to Ballet Wooster 5246 Cleveland Road, Suite C

Classes are determined by demand.

When we get minimum class size of 4 clients we will set the date.

For this reason, we are not publishing a calendar, as the classes are by request only and never a drop-in option.

Private Sessions

Private in-home training sessions are the number one priority in Ms Barb's life.

She will bring one or two of her dogs to the appointment. They are her best support staff, willing and eager to show off the very thing you want to learn.

Sometimes seeing is believing, and seeing "how" your dog will perform the new skills will help you going forward on your homework.
For example, if you want your dog to fetch a slipper, I will have Sheyna do that, and then break down the puzzle pieces.

You always get homework!

Lots of paper and pen or pencil in hand, you will learn how to be the best dog parent. Period.

Boarding and doggie daycare

Full service one stop shop, is what Ms Barb can bring to your life.

A beautiful wooded fenced in home out in the peaceful country, if you want your dog to have the BEST vacation money can buy,
you might be eligible.

Requirements: Friendly, healthy, up to date on vaccinations, vet records, and current on monthly flea/tick prevention. Crate trained dogs are welcome. Freedom to explore the woods and bark at the squirrels never looked so good.

Frequent doggie daycare clients are eligible for discounted rate.

Ms Barb offers nail filing with Dremel, bath and blow dry and a "tune-up" trim (eyes, butt, feet).

Therapeutical grooming sessions lasting all day are $200. Goal is for your dog to increase in confidence with the grooming process, and you will no longer need me.
